The Skills Ontario Competition is an incredible display of our future skilled workforce! It’s also a chance for Ontarians to connect with employers and advocates, and a great way to support the skilled trades and technologies. We’ve been running our Competition in-person for over 30 years, and we’re proud to deliver this event in a virtual format in 2021. With contests running remotely, a virtual career showcase hosting several booths, a scavenger hunt, and more, we’re aiming to capture the excellence and magnitude of our Skills Ontario Competition virtually. Our Young Women’s Conference and First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Student Conference will return, with the hands-on learning and mentorship that Skills Ontario is known for. Who Should Attend:· Elementary Students (Grades 7-8)· Secondary Students· Educators· Guidance Counselors· Parents/Guardians May 12 Agenda:· 9:00 – 8:00 p.m. Exhibit Halls Open - Visit and engage with over 50 Skills Ontario Partners Competition Halls Open – Check out all of the 2021 Contests Scavenger Hunt & Leaderboard – Collect points for a chance to win! Students names are not required for registration, only student Board email. Student Board email is only collected for correspondence purposes, program administration and Skills Ontario’s management system and will not be shared with any outside organizations).· FREE Activity Kits are being offered for the first 500 elementary students and 500 secondary students who register for this event.
